I've just added some classes to my home studio schedule. They are listed in my upcoming events. I have two different shibori classes: one May 21st and another on August 6th. On June 24th I will be doing a Dyeing a Color Family class. It's a great class to build a set of fabrics that you know work well together, especially if you want to explore transparency in your work. On July 16th I will teaching a Let's Face It Class... if you have ever wondered how to do a facing or would like to learn the easiest (and best) way to add a facing to your quilt edge, this is your class. On October 1st, I will be teaching the Printing on Fabric Class. In this class we will work with thickened dyes, stencils, screens and stamps to add pattern to cloth. Descriptions of all these classes on my class page, you can get more information there. I am going to try something new on June 26th, July 31st, August 28th, September 25th, October 30th... an Improv Club. If you are interested in learning Improv Piecing and exploring different techniques to use within this modern technique, please join me. You can sign up for one time, or come every time, it's up to you. I will have different techniques and exercises ready for each session, but they are not dependent on each other, each can stand alone. If you have questions, email me. If you are interested in signing up for any of the classes in my home studio, please email me to hold your spot. No money is required to hold your spot, but you do need to register with me. It is always a challenge to know what classes people are willing to take, so if there is something you would like me to teach, please feel free to contact me, [email protected]. I am always open to having you (and possibly a couple of your friends) come to the studio for a private event... just pick a date and a class!
